Meet the team: Olli Kekäläinen

Our new Cost Estimator Olli is Climecon’s official spectator sport champion who knows sport statistics better than anyone else in the team. Besides finishing his engineering studies the humorous man also works hard with our clients’ quotes.

Olli’s career at Climecon started already a couple of years ago. His previous positions with us included for instance CAD modeling and writing his Master’s thesis for the company. In November Olli became our team’s second full-time Cost Estimator, so nowadays he spends his working days mostly answering invitations for tenders and working at Climecon’s design service. “I have had a chance to do a lot of various tasks here“, he tells.

“Team spirit and collaboration are extra important at work.”

-Olli Kekäläinen

The sociable man has gotten well along with the darn good Climecon group and describes the atmosphere at the office being far from stiff. The team is also full of true professionals: “The team consists of nice people who are always ready to help“, Olli mentions. He specifically appreciates the team spirit and team culture at work. “They increase the satisfaction with working remarkably“, he sums up.

Olli is currently finishing his engineering studies at Aalto University, and is also a passionate spectator sportsman. Specialized in ice hockey, he knows the sport statistics so well that none of us would dare to challenge him in a quiz.

By modeling the obstacles in the space, their effect on the throw pattern of the selected air terminal device and the air movement can be studied. This information helps to choose the right air terminal devices for the space and to place them optimally so for example, the airflow turning down from the barrier does not cause draft problems.
